Dear colleague,

I hope all is well with you.

I would like to inform you about the second edition of the online course on Advanced Joining Processes that will take place from 4 to 29 April of 2022.

The Advanced Joining Processes course (AJP course) has been conceived to ensure that executives and professionals whose work is related to Advanced Joining Processes can increase their knowledge on the most current trends, using a remote learning process that relies only on digital tools. The Advanced Joining Processes course has been designed to provide a full understanding of diverse joining techniques, accompanied by practical exercises and regular spaces for open discussion of these topics. The course will provide classes on welding, solid state joining, bolted joints, deformation assisted joining and adhesive bonding. Regardless of their geographical situation, professionals and executives will have access to exclusive, highly relevant and updated content. The value proposition of this course is also very high, given that acquiring the same knowledge level using current training procedures would require spending significant resources.

The partners involved in this proposal are leaders in several key areas of joining processes, making it a truly multidisciplinary course, enabling a holistic view of new industrial and research trends. The team is composed of worldwide renowned experts in their fields, who are also closely connected with industrial partners. This is especially important, as the course is intended to act as a vehicle that streamlines the communication of the latest developments between I&R Centres and industries that use joining methods.

The 48h course is taught fully online, with 24 live-streamed hours and 24 hours available as video-on-demand.

The deadline for registration is 28 March 2022.
